Almond Hummus

Make this yummy hummus using almonds instead of chickpeas


1 cup soaked almonds – rinsed
1 clove garlic, finely chopped
2 Tbsp chopped parsley
2 tsp cumin
2 Tbsp tahini
½ tsp sea salt (optional)
Juice of ½ -1 lemon
1-2 Tbsp olive oil
2 Tbsp lemon olive oil (optional)
¼ tsp smoked paprika (optional)


Chop Garlic and parsley
Add soaked almonds and blend on high speed in blender
Scrape down sides and add cumin, tahini, ½ oil and ½ lemon.
Blend on medium speed
Scrape down sides and add more oil and lemon to taste and dip like consistency.
Season if required.
Serve with lemon olive oil and smoked paprika.
Use orange instead of lemon for a lighter flavour.
